Indie games & real-time scenes

Start with static props and scene dressing. Check triangle count, material slots, scale, pivot and shading in your target engine. A GLB is an interchange file, not an engine-certified package.

For production, ask about LODs, collision, UVs, texture resolution, draw calls and platform testing. Forma Originals are unrigged, solid-color geometric assets; engine validation, collision and LOD packages are not included.

Characters & animation

Check the skeleton, skin weights, deformation and animation license. Unrigged characters are useful for concepts or static scenes, but need more work before animation.

Products, AR & visualization

Validate dimensions, physically based materials, texture quality and file size. For AR, confirm the delivery format and real-world scale. A concept model is not a manufacturing CAD file.

3D printing

Confirm watertight geometry, wall thickness, tolerances and a tested printable format. These checks are not performed automatically by Forma. The current collection is not certified for printing.

Buying, licenses & delivery

Review the seller’s terms for commercial projects, team access, attribution and redistribution. A right to use a model in a game does not necessarily include the right to resell the model file.

During the pilot, send a purchase request, agree on the license and payment with the seller, and confirm delivery. Where checkout is enabled, verified payment unlocks the purchased file and license in Purchases. Otherwise, arrange payment and delivery directly with the seller. Forma does not hold funds in escrow.
